Why My Story Will Shock You... And How After What Seemed To Be An Endless 6 Month Battle, I Finally Was Able To Fix My Dog's Behavior In Just A Couple Of Weeks.

I don't know about you, but I spent months trying many different methods to fix some negative behaviors in my dog, Spike. My story may shock you, because I believed all of the hype about certain "dog behavior experts" and spent quite a bit of money and time - almost to the point of giving up - from not seeing any results. I will most definitely save you months of frustration by sharing my experience.

I will tell you exactly why over a 6 month period I tried but was forced to give up with "dog whispering", professional obedience classes, and a range of other supposedly proven techniques... and how I finally managed to make tremendous progress with my dog with a unique program called 'Secrets To Dog Training'.

My name is Rebecca White and like so many other new dog owners, I spent months desperately trying to housebreak my new pet, get him to stop barking all night, and teach him to not be so aggressive around other animals.

I have had dogs my entire life. Growing up my family always had smaller dogs - Poodles and Yorkies. As I got older, larger dogs started to find their way to me. Right after college I inherited a boxer from my grandfather who, because of his age, just wasn't able to take care of the dog. That one was 9 when I got him, and I enjoyed 5 more years with him. On my 1st wedding anniversary, my husband surprised me with a yellow Labrador Retreiver puppy as a gift. We named her Lucy. She was the perfect dog. Sadly, around 9 months ago (at around 6 years old), she passed away from cancer in her liver.

This was traumatic for us as it was quite a sudden shock, and it didn't help trying to explain things to our 3 year old son. About two months after Lucy passed away, my husband and I went to a local shelter and adopted Spike, a 2 year old Labrador Retreiver mix. He got along great with our son, and did perfect for the first few days in our house.

The Inevitable Started To Happen.

After the first week, Spike's behavior seemed to change. No matter how many times we let him out, or how long we stayed outside with him, he would have accidents inside on a regular basis. In addition to this, he would stay up all night, barking at the slightest little thing that made a noise or moved outside of the window. The biggest problem came when we were out for a walk in our neighborhood, and Spike almost pulled away from me to try and attack a smaller dog walking down the other side of the street!

And that was the point when I realized I had to do something.

My husband's first reaction was to take Spike back to the "pound". I couldn't possibly do that - it had been so hard to lose Lucy, I couldn't deal with losing another dog (I got quite attached in that first couple of weeks). I asked my family veterinarian for ideas, and he pointed me towards a local trainer.

I Tried Private Classes & Failed.

I got in contact with the trainer and scheduled a meeting. He wanted to meet for an hour, once a week, at a cost of $60 per visit. I talked it over with my husband, and he agreed to give this a try.

At first it worked out reasonably well - Spike seemed to be doing a little better with the cats that wandered in and out of our yard. This was nothing to brag about though, and he still didn't handle other animals very well while were out on walks.

After a month of sessions, we were at out wit's end with the trainer. He was a very nice and professional gentleman, but we hadn't seen any more improvements in any of Spike's negative behaviors. He was still using the bathroom inside, and we were still rarely getting a good night's sleep.

I had already spend a month of pure frustration, along with nearly $250 to see very minimal results.

I had to stop.

Then I Wasted More Time And Money On A Popular TV "Trainer".

Going on the advice of a good friend, I went on this person's website, and signed up for 6 months of his online sessions. This cost me right around $100. After just spending $250 for a month of training, I was quite happy with that number.

The problem with this though, was that even after 3 months, I wasn't seeing any results. I tried everything he was suggesting. I was trying to be patient, but my husband was getting more upset with Spike every day.

By the end of the 6 months of sessions, I just didn't know what to do. I felt as if Spike was actually getting worse as time went on. I don't know if this was because he thought it was okay to act the way he was acting (since it had gone on so long), or if it was because of whatever had happened in his life before we rescued him, but I was fighting with my husband (who wanted to get rid of him) about Spike every single day.

Soon Though, I Found Something That Worked.

Having spent so much time, money and energy desperately trying to succeed with different techniques was a big regret. However, the next thing I tried that was called Secrets To Dog Training.

I had never heard of this program before and because of my recent experiences, I was initially a little dubious. But after reading some extremely complimentary reviews and learning that the cost was minimal compared to everything else I tried, I decided to give it a shot.

I was amazed at how fast I was seeing improvements in Spike's behaviors. I was making major progress after the first week!

Here's Why I Recommend It.

The reason why I recommend Secrets To Dog Training is because I followed their plan for a matter of days and the results were almost unbelievable.

After three weeks, Spike is sleeping (and letting us sleep) through the night 90% of the time. Except for when we're gone for extremely long periods of time, he is having no problems whatsoever with going to the bathroom inside. We are still working with him to get him to accept other animals that we come across - we are seeing a huge improvement, but know this is going to take some work. We don't know how he was treated in the 2 years before we adopted him . My husband is excited and relieved that he isn't trying to attack every other dog he comes across.

In my opinion, this is way more superior and far more effective than any of the other techniques and training I tried. Obviously everyone's pet is different, but it has worked extremely well for me. The best part is that there is no reprimanding or negative reinforcements (something that I don't believe in at all), and I am seeing huge and quick (compared to the other things I had tried) improvements.

Anyway, I hope you've found this information useful, whatever your situation, because if I had known about Secrets To Dog Training six months back, I would have saved many hundreds of dollars, and much more importantly, many nights of frustration and tears. I wish you every success!

Sincerely,

Rebecca White
